Farming, Planting and Conservation

Leonard - Farmed. Raised sheep. Weimaraner dogs.
Helene and Stanford - Had the old farm for a number of years.
Betty and Gef - Farmed on his family farm.
Joyce - Planted, with her high school class, a pine forest in western Wisconsin. Planted trees for Arbor Day annually with her students throughout her teaching career. Worked with the Environmental Education Council of Minnesota. Developed curricula and taught her students at the Deep Portage Nature Preserve.

Humor

Patricia - Sends thoughtful and humorous cards, letters and emails almost daily. Lets others know she's thinking of them by sending day brighteners.

Teaching

Leonard Mabry - Taught for 2 years in Kentucky.
Helene - Taught at Unity School.
Betty - Taught school in west central Wisconsin.
Joyce - Is still teaching.
