In 1851, she lived in Trehafod, Llanwonno Parish, Glamorgan. In September of that year she immigrated to America with her parents.

She was married 18 September 1858 to John Bedell who was born in 3 August 1836 in New Jersey and died 10 October 1917 in Moscow, Pennsylvania.

In 1860, she lived with her husband John, daughter Ellen and in-laws in Prompton Borough, Wayne County, Pennsylvania.

In 1870, she lived with her husband and next door to brother Daniel and his wife, in Spring Brook Township, then Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

In 1880, she lived in Hanover Township, Luzerne County, with her husband and daughter Ellen and son-in-law David Williams.

In 1900, she lived in Kane Borough, McKean County, Pennsylvania. Apparently she and her husband John followed her brother Daniel who had moved there previously.

In 1910, she was back in Spring Brook Township, Lackawanna County, with husband John, next to her sister Catherine Thomas.

Elizabeth died 25 June 1910, in Pennsylvania.
