picturesque senescence of the word Image could be relieved by the advent
of Referent:: an interstiched series of related impressions constructed to
be sufficient to the cause. Referents
accumulate about tactically deployed poles. Product breeds product. A
vast collection of such systems would constitute a referential galaxy,
which could be subdivided into clouds, and these clouds into lists of
sufficient series.
