The Somnambule's Crime
I
The Somnambule's Crime is a series of prose poems composed over the course of several years
by Dale Michael Houstman, who is heavily indebted to the tendencies of Max Jacob. The "crime" is always - of course - poetry itself, which is - from time to time - indistinguishable from slumber, albeit a form which retains use of a writing instrument.
This book is in a constant state of amendment, both revisions and additions.
The poems are freely offered for any non-commercial reuse, if there is any possibility of their being "useful" at all.
Contact information is found on the home page. I encourage any intelligent correspondence.
I dedicate this collection to the memory of William Marsh, friend.
