Improv

Teen Improv Theater is our national award-winning prevention program (awarded the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention’s coveted Promising Practice in Prevention distinction). Teens present a series of real-life scenarios; each one followed by an audience generated problem-solving discussion. The discussion is facilitated by the Improv troupe’s adult advisor. Community Partnership has completed start-up training for over 50 Improv troupes throughout Minnesota, as well as troupes from Illinois and Alaska. Improv troupes in Chisago County have performed for over 13,000 audience members since 1993!
