People often ask me which branch of art I like the best, since I work in so many mediums. I love the creative process more than the particular material, so it is hard to say, but I believe bronze sculptural fountains are the biggest thrill for me.
Here the approach differs from full-round sculpture in that the illusion of 3-d is suggested in a more 2-d pictorial manner, which in many cases is more difficult an art. It is a great match for incorporating in architecture, whether as an inset or hung freely. Even a small piece greatly enhances the sensorial experience of a place.
